Bas started as a trainer/coach at his former school (Academy of Journalism) teaching students about digital storytelling. As a former newspaper editor ‘writing for the web’ was another course he gave for company employees.

He kept giving those workshops after moving to Berlin. But after a stint at a social media-agency, he also started with online seminars ‘social media communication’ for the Deutsche Presse Akademie (Depak). For another education and training company, Yellow Park, he developed several tailor-made courses about digital subjects.
