Digital innovation is my work and my hobby. During my days as a newspaper reporter I had my own football blog. Since working as a project manager I have been in charge of building websites and apps, recently I worked for an agency that took care of the social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc etc) of big companies such as Netflix and Swisscom.
As a hobby I have basically been doing the same, setting up the Lowlove festival site in 2009 and more recently the English-languaged Union Berlin-fanblog. Yes, I love football, and it’s also very likely you can find me at concerts and festivals such as Lowlands and Melt. Not to mention clubs in the (in)famous Berlin techno scene.
Berlin is where I live and work since 2012 (and keep my little digital notebook with inside information). And in 2017 we started with a site with reviews about burger restaurants in Berlin.
This personal blog has been around much longer, probably somewhere around 2001 when I coded my first site manually with html. If you want to contact me, use one of the possibilities in the upper right corner, and if you want to know more about me, check the bastimmers.com-site with my resume and a small portfolio. And if you’re bored…. you can always invite me for a cup of coffee somewhere!
